On Mother's Day, Shane and I dedicated Meghan to God. We said we would raise her up in the way He wants us to. Our prayer for her as she grows up is that she begins to know who He is. We pray that she chooses to make Him boss of her life one day & takes Him seriously. We have a big job to do in trying to give Meghan the right picture of who Christ is & how to live for Him. We're going to mess up a lot, but God is gracious & will help us to follow through with what His word says. I'm excited to see what He does in her life & through her one day!
Our friends, The Barretts dedicated their son, Levi that day as well. He's only 2 days older than Meghan.

what a great moment to dedicate your child to the Lord and hope for her future salvation! The hardest thing for me to remember is my children our ultimately His and worrying about them is meaningless. His goodness and love far outweighs mine. Cassidy will be dedicated on Father's Day. :-) Great pictures!
Yes, it is hard to not worry about them! So comforting to know Christ & trust Him with their lives. Enjoy Cassidy's dedication :)!

I love Meghan's dress... and I actually think we have the same one. It's a 6m size though, so Ava's not big enough yet.
Dedication's are beautiful, but like you said, it is hard not to worry about them... We just have to remember that ultimately we serve a GOOD God who LOVES us & our babies.
